On May 2, the first preparatory meeting for the Empowering Youth for a United Europe Project, an initiative of DISCOVER EU, took place in the auditorium of the Terras do Ave Basic School. In this meeting, AETA, in partnership with YUPI, met for the first time with the selected young participants and their chaperones.
This initial interaction served to introduce the young participants to the topics for which they were selected and to make them aware that these initiatives require proactivity in defining activities and itineraries.
By the end of the meeting, the groups had already exchanged contacts and created groups so they could “get to work.”
