Today, August 16th, we visited the organization \u201cAmics de la Gent Gran\u201d which was founded in 1987.\nThis organization operates in Barcelona and other cities in Catalonia, and offers support to elderly people who live alone, providing companionship, social activities and assistance with their daily needs. \n\n\u201cIt currently accompanies around 2,743 elderly people and has 2,781 volunteers\u201d\n\nThe organization works to combat unwanted loneliness and social isolation, ensuring social inclusion.\n\nSome of the activities provided are: friendly calls, cultural events and traditions, meetings and outings, home meetings, among others.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
